Foundation is the third step in the Notabene Implementation phases. The goal is to comply with your end of Travel Rule obligations and collect data from your end-customer.
Travel Rule requirements include collecting Beneficiary information and transmitting it to the Beneficiary VASP. In this phase, you comply with these obligations and leverage the collected information for sanctions and AML/CTF controls before sending the blockchain transaction. This is the standard implementation during the Sunrise period.
What steps should I take?
Required tasks:
Collect information about the beneficiary of a blockchain transaction to be included in the Travel Rule transfer.
Recommended tasks:
Create an endpoint and configure the Travel Rule Authorization webhook.
Update settings to authorize blockchain transfers as soon as the Travel Rule transfer is sent.
Once you have completed the required tasks, you can move to the next phase. However, it is important to note that completing all the recommended tasks will increase your chances of success in the next phases.
