Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about Vest Points

Updated this week

1. When should I start accumulating points to avoid the first fee?

Today! You can start accumulating points immediately. The first monthly fee will be based on the points accumulated from today (2, October 2025) until November 6, 2025. If you accumulate 100 points before that date, your charge will be $0 USD.

2. What happens if I don't reach 100 points?

If you have less than 100 points at the end of the month, a small fee will be charged:

  • 1 to 99 points: $2 USD charge.

  • 0 points: $3 USD charge.

3. Does the Vest Points program replace the quarterly maintenance fee?

Yes. Vest Points replaces the old quarterly maintenance fee. The new model is a monthly membership fee, which can be $0 USD if you meet the 100-point requirement.

4. What is the Fully Paid Stock Lending (FPSL) program?

The FPSL is an optional program that allows you to lend your fully paid shares to Vest. In return, Vest gives you a commission for that loan. It is a way to earn passive income on your stocks. [Link to FPSL article].

5. What happens if I am not eligible to participate in the Fully Paid Stock Lending Program (FPSL)?

If you request to join the FPSL program (opt-in) but do not meet the eligibility criteria (operational, regulatory, or risk), you will retain the 50 points. Vest may verify and revoke points if your eligibility changes or if it detects non-compliance.

6. What happens if I refer multiple friends?

Points accumulate. If you refer 4 friends who deposit funds, you'll earn 200 Vest Points (4 x 50 points). This secures you two months with a $0 USD fee.

7. When will I be able to see my point balance in the app?

The new "Vest Points" section in the app, where you can monitor your balance, will be available starting in November. In the meantime, you can keep track of the actions you've taken to earn points (e.g., balance, deposits, referrals).
