Once you’ve created an account and are logged in, you can start building your first cookbook in just a few steps.

Step 1: Start a new book

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Go to the “My Books” section.

  3. Click the teal button: + START A NEW BOOK

Step 2: Choose your template settings

You’ll now be in the “Template” tab.

Here you can:

  • Enter a name for your book

  • Select a template

  • Choose a font

Good to know:

  • You can return to the Template tab at any time to rename your book, change your template, or switch fonts.

  • The name you enter here is for your account — you’ll choose your front cover title later.

At the bottom of the page:

  1. Select the type of book from the drop-down menu.

  2. Click + START BOOK!

Step 3: Begin building your content

You’ll now be in the “Content” tab — this is where you build and edit your cookbook.

On the left side, you’ll see:

  • Beginning Pages

  • Recipes

  • Index

  • Back Cover

Each section expands when clicked.

Beginning Pages

Here you can:

  • Add text (and photos, where available) to your front cover

  • Fill in your title page

  • Add a dedication

  • Write your introduction

Adding recipes

  1. Click Recipes.

  2. You’ll see your first section (automatically created).

  3. Rename the section as needed.

  4. Click + Add a new page to add your first recipe.

  5. Click + Add New to create additional sections or chapters.

You’re ready to build!

From here, you can continue adding sections, recipes, and pages until your cookbook is complete.

If you ever feel unsure where something is, you can return to the Template or Content tabs at any time — nothing is locked in while you’re building.

If you have any questions as you go, just click on the orange icon at the bottom right of your screen and type in your question. Happy book building!
