Yes. You can upload your own custom designs using our 'Create & Upload Your Own Design' premium template.

What can I customize?

With the Custom Design template, you'll need to upload your own .jpg or .png files for:

  • Front cover

  • Back cover

  • Title page*

  • Table of Contents (there is also an option to autogenerate this page by clicking the

  • Section (chapter) divider pages**

*A title page is the first interior page of your book.

It usually includes:

  • The title of your cookbook

  • The author’s name (or family name)

  • Sometimes the year or location

The title page appears after the front cover and before the rest of your book begins.

**For section divider pages: Please note that if you upload images from the Heritage Cookbook photo library to act as section divider pages, the program does not add a title. For example, if you upload a picture of cornbread as the section title page for the "Sides" chapter of your book, the word "Sides" will not be added to the image.

Image requirements

Before uploading your design files, please ensure they are:

  • Saved as .jpg or .png

  • Between 300–600 DPI (dots per inch) or 2.2MB - 8MB in size

Using high-resolution files helps ensure your book prints clearly and professionally.

Good to know

  • You can switch templates at any time before placing your order.

  • Always preview your book to confirm your custom pages appear as expected.

  • If you're unsure whether your file meets print requirements, we’re happy to help.
