Heritage Cookbook gives you two options for organizing your cookbook’s index: by page number or alphabetically.
To change how your index is organized:
Open your cookbook and go to the Content tab.
Select the Index section.
On the right-hand side of the page, find the dropdown menu under Organize My Index.
Select your preferred index format.
Organize Your Index by Page Number
Choose By page number to arrange your index entries according to where they appear in your cookbook. This can make it easier for readers to see the recipes and other content associated with each page.
Organize Your Index Alphabetically
Choose the alphabetical option to arrange index entries alphabetically, making it easier to look for a particular recipe or entry by name.
You can switch between the two options to see which index format works best for your cookbook.
