Refunding patients on Hero is easy. Firstly, find the invoice you would like to refund in the patients table. Once you have found the invoice, click the actions button on the right of the table.
Next, click 'Refund payment'.
If the invoice is attached to an appointment, you will be given the option to 'Cancel appointment' in the pop-up modal.
Select, 'Yes' for 'Refund payment' and decide whether you would like to cancel the appointment.
