Heroic now offers a pathway for obtaining Board Certified Coach (BCC) accreditation in collaboration with the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE).
As of now, Heroic Coaches are eligible for certification as a Board Certified Coach (BCC) through the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE). To pursue a Board Certified Coach certification, participants are required to meet specific requirements.
These include:
holding a Bachelor's degree.
logging 30 hours of practice coaching.
completing relevant modules, such as Pillars 1,2 and 3 of the Heroic Coach Program.
Other criteria as established by the CCE may also apply.
Logging Pro Bono Client Hours
Heroic Coaches are encouraged to log coaching hours with pro bono clients to ensure accurate tracking for certification purposes. Note that Heroic certifications align with CCE standards and not the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Recommendations for Certification Candidates:
Maintain Accurate Records: Keep a comprehensive record of all your coaching sessions, including the date and duration of the sessions, your client's name and contact details, and whether sessions are paid or pro-bono.
Stay Updated: Regularly check for announcements on changes or additional requirements.
Align Your Practice: Focus on meeting CCE standards to successfully fulfill the certification prerequisites. Heroic willl be sharing more on this soon, but in the meantime, you may find the CCE's website helpful
The Heroic Coach Program maintains a straightforward framework for achieving Board Certified Coach accreditation through the CCE. By adhering to the guidelines and consistently monitoring updates, you can confidently pursue your Coaching certification goals, and rest assured that you'll finish with a reputable, practical certification.
