πŸ“ What is an Inquiry Card?

An Inquiry Card is how Heron displays and tracks each missed or handled patient inquiry. It acts as a summary of the key details captured from a phone call or message so your team can follow up efficiently.

πŸ” What Does an Inquiry Card Show?

Each card includes:

  • Patient Name

Captured from the call if the patient says their name clearly.

  • Date of Birth

Shown if Heron is connected to your PMS and the patient is matched.

  • Phone Number or Email

The contact details Heron detected from the incoming inquiry.

  • Urgency Level

Heron assesses and flags whether the inquiry is low, medium, or high urgency β€” helping you prioritise appropriately.

  • Inquiry Type

    Automatically classified into categories like:

    • Appointment request

    • Prescription refill

    • General inquiry

    • Other (if unable to determine)

πŸ—‚οΈ Why It Matters

Inquiry cards allow your team to:

  • Quickly see what the patient needs

  • Prioritise follow-ups based on urgency

  • Respond directly via SMS chat (through Heron) or follow up call.

  • Keep track of inquiries through the Workflow board (New, In Progress, Scheduled, Done)

πŸ‘‰ Inquiry cards turn every patient contact into a structured, actionable task β€” helping your team stay organised, responsive, and patient-focused.
