Follow these steps to link your Medtech instance with Heron.
Step 1: Locate Your Facility ID
You need your Facility ID so Heron can identify your specific Medtech instance.
Log into Medtech Evolution.
Follow the Medtech Facility ID Guide to locate your ID.
Note this ID down; you will need it in Step 4.
Step 2: Prepare Your Staff List
Before connecting, ensure all bookable practitioners are added to Heron. You can add them in from Settings > Members & Roles in two ways:
Team Members: Staff who require Heron login access.
Listed Staff: Staff who do not need login access but require booking capabilities.
Step 3: Authorise your Connection with Medtech.
Contact your Heron customer support to get the authorisation form (pdf) support@heyheron.ai
Fill in the authorisation form.
Email this completed form to Medtech at activateALEX@medtechglobal.com
Step 4: Connect Medtech
Your account lead will be in touch with you once Medtech has authorised your Heron connection.
From there you can connect via Heron, navigate to Settings.
Select Integrations.
Find Medtech and click Setup Integration.
Step 5: Connect the Account
Enter the Facility ID you recorded in Step 1.
Enter your email address as the Technical Contact.
Click Connect Account.
Step 6: Map Your Practitioners
The final step is to link your Heron staff profiles to their corresponding Medtech practitioner records.
Match each Member or Listed Staff to the correct Medtech entry.
If you add more staff later, simply revisit these settings to update your mapping.
Click “Confirm users” when you are done.
