Wearable Integrations

Which platforms and wearables you can connect to Hexis, and what to do if your training data isn't syncing.

Use this article to see which training platforms and wearables Hexis connects to, connect one to your Athlete App, and troubleshoot syncing issues across any connected platform.

Which training platforms and wearables can I connect to?

Hexis currently integrates with:

  • TrainingPeaks

  • Intervals.icu

  • Apple Health

  • Garmin

  • WHOOP

  • STATSports (available to some athletes working with a coach on Hexis)

  • Catapult (available to some athletes working with a coach on Hexis)

Apple Health also acts as a hub for other compatible devices, such as an Apple Watch, Oura Ring, and more.

What data will Hexis use from my wearable or training platform?

Hexis syncs your planned and completed training data to provide a more personalized and enhanced experience. Depending on the platform, you can also choose to sync wellness data such as sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, and steps, which you'll find under Trends.

Do I need a wearable to use the Athlete App effectively?

No, connecting a wearable device is not required. Your personalized and periodized nutrition recommendations are based on your physical characteristics, training, lifestyle, and goals, grounded in the latest scientific evidence.

How do I connect my wearable device or training platform?

  1. Tap More in the bottom navigation bar.

  2. Select My Profile.

  3. Go to Settings and scroll to Integrations.

  4. Tap the integration you want to connect. Each integration has a slightly different connection flow.

  5. Follow the steps for your selected platform, then confirm the connection.

Some integrations, like Garmin and WHOOP, also let you choose exactly which data categories sync into Hexis - for example, completed training only, or training plus wellness data.

My training data didn't sync - what should I do?

If a session hasn't synced into the Athlete App:

  1. Check the integration is connected. Go to More > My Profile > Settings > Integrations and confirm the relevant integration shows as connected. Reconnect if it isn't.

  2. Trigger a manual sync. Pull down on the Home screen to sync ("pull to sync").

  3. Check the session for missing details. If a synced session isn't counting towards your day's targets, tap into it - it may be missing a required detail, such as start time, duration, or intensity, which needs to be added before Hexis can calculate it into your Fuel Plan.

  4. Check for duplicate or overlapping sessions. Some platforms will block a sync if you have two workouts scheduled with identical timestamps.

If intensity data specifically is missing after a sync, add it manually within the Hexis app.

If the issue continues after trying the steps above, contact support.

Note: In 2026, Strava updated its third-party API agreement so that once your data is imported into another platform, for example from Strava into Intervals.icu), that platform is no longer permitted to share that data onward to a further third party, including Hexis. This is a restriction set by Strava, not a limitation of Hexis. In this case, we would suggest importing workout data from a different platform. Hexis is in the process of a direct integration with Strava to resolve this in the near future.

How does my training and wellness data impact my nutrition recommendations?

Training data shared from your connected platform is used to update your personaliZed nutrition recommendations to reflect your most up-to-date training. This includes updates to your day's Fuel Plan, Kcals & Macros, and Live Energy.
