Your Moves in Heyou

What a Heyou Move is, how Heyou picks the person, and how to read our AI reasoning to know every move is spot on.

Overview

A Heyou Move is a specific next action we suggest for you — who to reach, how to reach them, and why now. Each one names a real person at a real company, pairs them with a specific action (from an intro request to a direct message), and shows what led Heyou to suggest it. Moves arrive as they are ready, stay in view for 24 hours after you act on them, and are never offered to more than one person on your team at the same time.

What Heyou Moves recommend

A Move is a specific next action for you to take, addressed to a real individual at a real company. It has three parts: the person, the action (a strong intro request, a direct message, a comment, or simply paying attention), and the reasoning that ties them together: why this person, why now, and what your path to them looks like. Moves are never generic lists to work through - each one is a step you can take today.

How Heyou decides who is on your moves list

Heyou weighs two things for every move: how well the person's company fits your target market (your Ideal Customer Profile), and how strong your path to them actually is (drawn from your team's real relationship history). Then it accounts for who on your team is already pursuing that account, so you and a colleague are never pointed at the same target. Moves in your region come first, keeping the flow focused on accounts you can meaningfully move. When your Sales Operations team adjusts how a company fits your profile, that adjustment takes effect everywhere Heyou uses the score.

The reasoning behind every Move

Every Move shows the reasoning behind it, in plain terms: why this specific person, why now, and what your path to them looks like. The company context — industry, size, and which of your teammates are already connected to people at the account — is in the same view. One click to see everything you need to decide.

New intro paths through investors and customers

The Access Agents map the networks around your business: employees, customers, investors, champions, and partners. Two paths come out of that which most tools cannot reach: Heyou can suggest asking one of your investors for an introduction to one of their portfolio companies, and it can suggest reaching an employee at one of your existing customers who works with a prospect you are pursuing. These paths open pipeline that cold outreach cannot, and Heyou ranks them alongside every other Move.

How Moves reach you

Moves arrive as they are ready. After you act on one — send the message, request the intro, take the next step — it stays in view for 24 hours in case you want to reconsider. Three actions are always visible on each Move: act on it, skip, or snooze until later. A done / total indicator at the top tells you how much is in front of you.

Recent enhancements

The most recent additions to this module. New entries are added by Heyou's release process.

  • August 2026 — The Why this matters view now includes the company context — industry, size, and the LinkedIn members your team is connected to at that account — in the same panel. One place instead of two.

  • July 2026 — Move began respecting who on your team is already working an account, so the same target is not offered to more than one person. Two new intro paths opened up: through an existing investor into a portfolio company, and through an existing customer's employee into a new prospect. Moves in your region moved to the front. When your Sales Operations team adjusts how an account fits your profile, that adjustment now takes effect everywhere Heyou uses the score. Moves also began arriving as they are ready, and after you act on one it stays in view for 24 hours. And when you send a message from a Move, Heyou now tracks whether it was delivered and whether the recipient replied — so the next Move reflects what actually happened.

If you have a question about a specific Move or how Heyou chose it, reply to any Heyou email or open the in-product chat — our team responds to every message.
