Urgent supply of medication
If you urgently need medical help or advice, but it's not a life-threatening situation, contact NHS 111 by calling 111. Always call 999 in a life-threatening situation.
You can ask any pharmacy to give you an emergency supply of medication if you need it urgently, but it’s at their discretion whether they issue it.
It could help if you:
have used the pharmacy before to get your medication
can take an empty box or pack of the medication you want to get
can take an old prescription slip with the medication you want on it
