Integrating with Zapier

Updated over 3 weeks ago

When using Zapier, first log into Rosie, go to the Integrations page, select "Zapier" and click the Install button in the top right corner.

That will open a modal with an api_key, that you'll use later in Zapier to install.

Once done, please connect the Rosie app on this page within Zapier's app directory.

Once you connect the Rosie app, you'll be able to create new Zaps by hitting the "Create+" -> "New Zap" button in Zapier and searching for "Rosie" in the "Trigger" section of the new Zap.

Once the Rosie Zap is selected, you can start by selecting which trigger you want for your Actions in Zapier.

Let's say you want to make an Action (e.g. send an Email) anytime a new call is made. You would then select the "New Call" trigger:

Once you select the trigger, the next step will be to "Sign in" to Rosie. This is where you'll need the Api Key from Rosie's Admin. Copy it, and paste it in the modal that opens in Zapier and click "Yes, Continue to Hey Rosie".

Once done, please go back to the Rosie Admin and click "Verify" to finalize your Zapier installation.

Done!

To test it all out, you can now go back to your Zap, go to the "Test" step of the "Trigger", make a call to your Rosie phone number, wait approximately 5 minutes and click "Find new records". That will pull the data from the latest call(s) made to your number.

Once you're happy, you can go to the "Action" section, and select your desired app.

For example if you want to send an email transcript via Gmail, simply select "Gmail" in the Action section and follow the steps to connect your account.

Please note your Zapier integration will be 'pending' in the Rosie Admin until you:

  • Create a Zap with Rosie as the trigger

  • Enable the zap

  • Place a live test call that fires the Zap

  • Wait 5-10 minutes

At this point, if your test call fired the Zap, we can finalize the integration.
