Adding Session Commentary and Feedback

For coaches, athletes and support team members: add commentary against a session so athlete feedback and coach responses stay in one place.

Coaches, athletes and support team members can add commentary against a session, creating a feedback loop.

For example: The athlete notes how the session went, the coach reads and responds, and the exchange stays with the session so the context sits in one place.

Add a Comment

  1. Navigate to Session Module

  2. Open the session from the session calendar.

  3. Select Shared or Private tab

  4. Create a tag for your comment to find easily later

  5. Type your comment and save it.

Read and Reply

  1. Open the session to see the comments recorded against it.

  2. Add your own comment in response. Replies sit with the session alongside the original comment, so the full exchange stays with the training it relates to.

Note: Notifications is not yet enabled so to view other comments you will need to open the session directly to check for new comments.

Tips

  1. Keep comments short and factual.

  2. Comment soon after the session, while the detail is fresh.

  3. Use the loop from both sides:

    1. Athletes: record how the session actually went, including anything that affected it.

    2. Coaches: read and respond, so athletes know their notes are being read.

    3. Support Team: Provide information useful for both you and the athlete and coach. Discuss with the coach how much information they would like provided.
