How to - Record a Hintro using a mobile

2 - Just like the desktop/laptop version, it is also possible to either use the side bar of the main button to access the Hintro feature. It is also possible to access Intercom for assistance, using the bottom right corner orange button.

3 - Inside the Hintro Feature it is possible to access camera and audio settings as you normally would on your desktop or laptop. It is also possible to either record or upload. To record press "Record Camera" button at the bottom.

4 - Hinterview will perform permissions and equipment check before it allows access to the recording screen. It is important to make sure no other applications, which may use your Camera and Audio, are on.

5 - Once the permissions checks are passed, it will automatically prompt the recording screen to show. Notice it is also possible to use the background blur feature.

6 - Below you can see the timer and the stop button as you would on the desktop/laptop version.

7 - Once stopped, it is also possible to review your video before submitting. Make sure to add a name to the Hintro as it will not allow the upload to proceed if there isn't one.

Please Note: Pressing "Record Again" or "Click here to upload your own video" will delete the Hintro which has just been recorded.

8 - Once submitted, to access the library, select the Hintro feature from the side bar, which will prompt the below screen to appear.

Note that the Hintro recording function has been disabled in Iphone devices, as it is not supported. Panic not! You may, however, record your Hintros using your mobile camera app and upload them as a file. You can learn how to to do this below!

After entering the Hintro function you will be prompted with the screen below:

1 - Add a title for the Hintro in the "Name" field

2 - Click the "add video" space, select a video file to upload

3 - Do not leave the page whilst your video is being uploaded, as this may cancel the process and the upload may fail.
