What Is Spotlight?
Spotlight is HiredScore’s screening tool, where you can view and action candidates who have applied to open requisitions. Using the efficiency tools in Spotlight, you can quickly and easily locate, screen, and action candidates for all supported steps of the hiring funnel.
Select the requisition you want to work on from the “My Reqs” view on the HiredScore homepage or from the requisition list in “My Reqs.
You will be redirected to the “Applicants” tab for the req. This is Spotlight! Here you can screen and action the active applicants for the requisition that you’ve selected.
Select the step of the hiring funnel that you want to work on (it must be a HiredScore-supported step - please refer to your workflow).
The candidate table contains several important data points so you can learn more about the candidate.
Sort your applicant list using the HiredScore grade column (HS) and start screening the candidate at the top of the list first. HiredScore assigns grades to candidates based on how well their CV matches the job description for the req, so the candidate at the top is the most relevant based on the req requirements posted.
Use the keyword search and filters on the left-hand side of Spotlight to narrow down the list of candidates based on your preferences. This will save you significant screening time and help you focus on the most qualified candidates for the req.
After you have sorted the HS grade column from top to bottom and used the filters to narrow down the applicant list, click on the candidate at the top of the list to open their HiredScore profile and start screening!
Move between candidate profiles using the arrows on the top-right corner or the arrow keys on your keyboard.
When you have reviewed the candidate’s profile, you can progress/disposition the candidate directly from their profile as seen below.
Status multiple candidates by selecting the checkbox next to the names of the candidates that you wish to action and then clicking off their profile (back to the candidate table).
Choose the “Action” drop-down, and you can change the status of chosen candidates or share them with your Hiring Manager or colleague directly from HiredScore.
