What are HiredScore’s Diversity and Inclusion Insights?

HiredScore’s D&I Insights display smart, high-level insights that break down the diversity of the candidate slate, in each phase of your requisition (for different diversity categories). The diversity categories are based on the diversity questionnaire shared with candidates.

After selecting the diversity view in your active candidate list, adjust the filters to optimize your applicant list. HiredScore’s D&I insights will update and show you how those adjustments have impacted the diversity of the applicant pool (both in the specific step you’re working on and across the entire hiring funnel for that requisition).

Please note, the configuration of insights for your company may differ from the screenshots used in this article.

How Do I Use The D&I Insights?

  1. Select the requisition that you want to work on from the HiredScore Home Screen or the My Reqs page.

  2. Select the Diversity View.

3. From the diversity view, select a diversity group (gender, ethnicity, disability, veteran status) to view their representation (%) in each step of the hiring funnel.

There needs to be a minimum of 20 candidates in each step for HiredScore to show D&I insights.

4. Switch off the view all candidates toggle to exclude the applicants who did not disclose their diversity information when answering your diversity questionnaire during the application process.

5. Adjust the Spotlight filters (e.g. highest degree or HiredScore grade) to create a shortlist of applicants. As you update the filters, the D&I insights will adjust and only reflect the diversity of applicants who align with the new filter criteria.

6. After HiredScore’s D&I insights update, you can easily understand how the filters you selected have impacted the diversity of the applicant pool. Use these insights to learn which actions increase or decrease the representation of diverse candidates in your requisition. Keep an eye on the insights as you use the filters to ensure that you are progressing and maintaining a diverse candidate slate. Understand the req requirements that may prevent diverse applicants from progressing through the hiring funnel.

7. Select each diverse group to view their representation across the hiring funnel for your chosen requisition and maintain a diverse pool of applicants.
