A ride always consists of a freely selectable address and a Hitchhike ride point. 

Now select the destination first by entering the address or by clicking on a Hitchhike Carpool point ( Yellow Hi sign ) in the mask. This can be an existing Hitchhike ride point.

Now select your place of departure by entering the address. This can be your home address. 

Now enter your trip or ride in the system. If you would like to drive yourself, select "Car available" and if you would like to be taken along, do not select this option.

The system will inform you about the possibility to choose the assistant or power user. If you have already used Start and Destination once, you can choose the Power User Way. Otherwise the assistant.
