You cannot delete your profile yourself for technical reasons.
If you no longer need Hitchhike, we recommend...
... deleting all trips in the "My Trips" tab. This way, you will no longer be visible on the platform as a user, and no one will send you requests or contact you.
--> Advantage: Your profile will not be lost.
If you request the deletion of your account, you will lose your accumulated points, trip statistics, chat information with ride-shares, access rights to communities you were granted access to, and any existing connections with ride-shares you had in the past.
If you wish to use Hitchhike again later, you can simply create trips again.

If you want your profile to be permanently deleted, you have the following two options:
Option 1: Log in and write in the support chat that you would like your profile to be deleted.
Option 2: Send us your deletion request from your registered email address to dataprotection@hi-mobility.io
