If you need to turn off the Pool checker feature in ASIC Hub on Windows, you can do this by adding one line to the configuration file and restarting the service. Follow the steps below.
1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator
Search for cmd in the Start menu, right-click Command Prompt, and choose Run as administrator.
2. Stop the ASIC Hub service
In the elevated Command Prompt, run:
net stop asic-hub
3. Locate config.toml
Open File Explorer and go to C:\Program Files\Hiveon\ASIC hub. Find the config.toml file — you'll need it in the next step.
4. Open Notepad as Administrator
Search for notepad in the Start menu, right-click Notepad, and choose Run as administrator.
5. Open config.toml in Notepad
In Notepad, choose File → Open, browse to the same C:\Program Files\Hiveon\ASIC hub folder, and open config.toml.
6. Add or edit the EnableTasker line
Look for a line starting with EnableTasker. If it's already there, change its value to False. If it isn't there, add this line anywhere in the file:
EnableTasker = False
Make sure that doesn't start with # EnableTasker!
7. Save the file
Choose File → Save As. In the Save as type dropdown, select All Files, keep the file name as config.toml, and save — confirm overwriting the original file when prompted.
Setting "Save as type" to All Files is important — otherwise Notepad will save the file as config.toml.txt and ASIC Hub won't read it.
8. Restart the ASIC Hub service
Switch back to the Command Prompt window and run:
net start asic-hub
The Pool checker feature is now disabled.
