Read this article to know more about tensions.

A tension can be recorded in order to remind yourself of issues you want to address in a tactical or governance meeting and can be used to create governance proposals in advance (within a meeting or through consent decision-making process).

Creating a tension

  • Click on Tensions in the left-hand navigation menu
  • Click on Add tension
  • Enter a Title, select the appropriate Circle
  • Choose a Type or keep empty (Undefined) to import your tension in a tactical or governance meeting
  • Add a Description 
  • Choose Draft if  you want to keep this tension private or Ready (the secretary in a meeting will be able to access and import these tensions)
  • Click Create

Adding a governance proposal to your tension

When creating a governance tension, you can add a proposal for a desired circle.

  • Click the 3 dots to the right of the tension you wish to add a governance proposal to
  • Click Add governance proposal 
  • Click Add proposal
  • Follow the steps in this article to prepare the desired governance change in advance

Modifying a tension

  • Click on the 3 dots to the right of the tension you wish to modify
  • Click Edit tension or Make private/Make public to change its status
  • Make the desired edits
  • Click Save

Deleting a tension

  • Click on the 3 dots to the right of the tension you wish to delete
  • Click Delete tension
  • Click Delete
