At the center of an Image Tracking scene, you have an target image, which serves as the trigger of the AR experience.

You can use different targets for different scenes or use one target in some scenes and another in other scenes. The way you go about it is completely up to you and your needs.

Changing the Image Target

You can change the image target in the right hand panel when you are in the scene view.

  1. Simply click "[image target]" which will turn purple when you hover your mouse over it.

  2. This will open the view below, where you click the image of the current Target Image to change it.

  3. This will open the image target library, where you can choose any target images that you have already uploaded, or click "upload" to upload a new image target.

  4. If you want to use the same image target across all image tracking scenes in a Hololink, click on the button labeled "Use target in all tracking scenes...".

NB! This button will only be visible if you have at least 2 image tracking scenes in the Hololink.

It's as easy as that. Remember to read our tips on best practices for target images in this article: https://intercom.help/hololink/en/articles/5069535-target-image-best-practices
