Sounds and music are a perfect way of setting a certain mood or adding to the immersive feeling of an AR experience.

This can be done by adding audio to each scene like voices or sound effects.

Or you can add a background soundtrack to create an overall mood or feeling, for example by using the sound of birds singing, or an exhilarating music score.

When creating your Hololink, you can use both types of sound at the same time.

Adding a Soundtrack

When you want to add a soundtrack to your entire experience,:

  1. Click on the Soundtrack button at the bottom of your storyboard.

  2. Choose a soundtrack file from the standard library or upload your own using the button in your team library.

  3. Set the volume for the soundtrack.

  4. Choose whether you want the track to loop.

  5. You can always change the audio by clicking the folder icon, or delete it by clicking the dustbin icon.

Adding Audio to a Scene

When you want to add audio to a scene:

  1. Open the scene.

  2. Click on the Audio Library button on the left hand side of your screen.

  3. Choose aan audio file from the standard library or upload your own using the button in your team library.

  4. Your audio has now been added to the scene.

  5. IMPORTANT! If you add another audio file, this will automatically delete the file you have previously chosen, as we only support one audio file in each scene.
