HomeBiogas is ideal for backyards. When considering where to place your HomeBiogas appliance, there are a few things you should take into consideration:
Size of the appliance - The dimensions of the assembled appliance are 115W/205L/125H (cm)
Distance from the stove - HomeBiogas 2.0 can be situated up to 20 meters away from the stove that it powers.
Lots of Sunlight - HomeBiogas should be placed in a location that receives the maximum amount of sunlight. The heat from the sun helps the bacteria inside thrive.
No Slope - Because HomeBiogas is filled with liquid, it should be placed on a flat surface. Do not place HomeBiogas on a wood pallet, as the wood can rot and cave under the weight of the appliance.
Inside/Outside - HomeBiogas should always be placed outside, unless it is inside of a greenhouse with proper ventilation.
Cold climates - If after reading our article about colder climates, you have concluded that you will need to make use of an additional heat source during wintertime, make sure that your appliance is situated near an electricity point.
