The HomeHunter Chrome extension captures every listing you view and neatly syncs your favorites to the dashboard. Follow these steps to install (or reinstall) the extension and confirm it’s connected.
1. Open the Chrome Web Store Listing
From your dashboard’s header, click Install Extension—or visit the link on the Chrome Web Store.
Click Add to Chrome → Add Extension.
Chrome confirms the installation and pins the icon to your toolbar.
Tip: If you don’t see the icon, click the puzzle-piece 🧩 and pin HomeHunter.
2. Check Your Extension Status
Back in the dashboard, look at the Extension Sync Button in the header:
Button Label | What It Tells You | Typical Next Step |
Install Extension | We can’t detect the Chrome add-on. | Click to open the Chrome Web Store and install. |
Sign In to Extension | Add-on found, but nobody’s signed in. | Open the extension and sign in, or simply click Sync Now. |
Sync Sessions | Extension is signed in as a different user. | Log out inside the extension, then press Sync to link it to you. |
Language Mismatch | Extension language differs from your dashboard. | Hit Sync to match languages. |
Extension Synced | Everything is connected and up-to-date. | Click anytime to open the extension popup. |
3. Reinstalling After Uninstall
If you remove the extension, we show a friendly Goodbye page with a Reinstall Extension button. Tap it to jump straight back to the Web Store and add it again—no hunting for links.
