As school organizers set up their enrichment, extended day, or summer seasons, they will send providers an activity request which invites you to teach an activity at a particular day and time.
After you create an account on Homeroom or log in to your existing account:
Step 1: Add Activity Templates
Click the Activity Templates link on the left and then click Add Activity Template. Enter the activity name and a description. If you have multiple activities, please add each one individually.
Step 2: Add Instructors
Click the Instructors link on the left. On the Instructors page, click the Edit icon to start adding new instructors. Instructors are added to activities because Homeroom sends them email notifications including an activity summary as well as a daily attendance email to check students in and out.
Step 3: Complete Activity Request Information
Click Activities on the left. Pending activity requests appear with the status Requested.
Click on the name of an activity and enter the following information:
Select the activity template from the drop-down
Select the instructor name from the drop-down list (you can always add instructors later)
Select the appropriate grade levels or ages
Set the minimum and maximum number of student enrollments
Set the activity pricing (you can see the per-class cost in the Activity Summary on the right)
Set any materials fee
Step 4: Save and Send
Click Save & Send. Once the organizer has reviewed and approved the activity, it will appear on the school's registration page. You can also click Save Changes to save your updates without sending to the organizer yet.
