How the Relationship Works
School
The school is the physical location where the activity or program takes place. As a school, you are responsible for managing:
Seasons — Define when activities are offered
Enrollment Windows — Set timeframes for when families can sign up
Scheduling — Determine when and where activities occur on your campus
Provider
The provider is the organization that delivers the activity or program. This could be the school itself or a third-party vendor. As a provider, you manage:
Pricing — Set fees for your activities
Staffing — Assign instructors and other personnel
Payment — Receive payment directly through Stripe for the activity fee
Managing One or Both Roles
Depending on your setup, you may take on:
Both roles — For example, if your school runs its own after-school programs, you will act as both the school and the provider.
A single role — If you're an external provider (like a chess or robotics organization), you'll act as the provider partnering with a host school.
This flexible structure allows for streamlined collaboration and a clear division of responsibilities, making program management easier for everyone involved.
