Homeroom has smart auto-detection for overlapping activities. This helps avoid double-billing when students are enrolled in multiple programs — for example, when a student is signed into an enrichment class that overlaps with extended day care.

Extended day billing can be paused automatically if a student is signed into an enrichment class at the same time.

To configure how fees are adjusted for families with overlapping activities, edit the extended care activity. When setting up the usage price, you will see a section for Overlap Pricing with three options that let you decide how to handle students enrolled in overlapping activities.
