Drop-In Enrollment vs. Regular Enrollment

The difference between regular and drop-in enrollment, and how to configure and track drop-ins in Homeroom.

Homeroom supports both standard recurring enrollment and drop-in registration. Here's the difference and how to configure each.

Regular enrollment

Families register for a full session or recurring schedule. Billing is based on the full session cost or a recurring monthly rate. The student appears on the roster for every scheduled date.

Drop-in enrollment

Families register for individual days or sessions as needed. Each drop-in is billed at a per-day rate. The student appears on the attendance sheet only for the days they're registered.

Enabling drop-in for a program

  1. Open the program in your dashboard and enter in a daily drop in price.

  2. Set your drop-in rate

  3. Save your changes
