Staff Groups can be utilised for various purposes.
Applying tags to team members to identify certain skills or attributes - for example to group first aiders or fire marshals.
Managing custom approvers for holiday, sickness and remote working requests, or expense claims.
Managing and restricting holiday requests, ensuring that certain employees are not off at the same time.
Sharing files - for example, if you have a specific group of people who need access to files uploaded to the system and you share these with a staff group, all users in the group will have access to that file. You can then edit the employees within the group to update who has access to those documents, rather than sharing files with individual employees and needing to manually update the share permissions for every document in the system.
