It is common for guests to change their plans either before their arrival or sometimes even partway through their stay. The Hometime Platform has been designed with these events in mind to ensure your tasks are amended with the reservation. Any task that has been created as a "check-in" or "check-out" event will automatically update when a change or cancellation has been made.


Reservation amended before check-in:

  • All tasks associated with that reservation will automatically update based on the new check-in and check-out dates.

Reservation cancelled before check-in:

  • All tasks associated with that reservation will automatically be cancelled.

Reservation amended during their stay:

  • All future tasks (any scheduled after the current date) will automatically update with the new check-out date.

Reservation cancelled during their stay:

  • Please note: Airbnb removes the reservation from the calendar when a booking is cancelled mid-stay, which means it is also removed from the Hometime calendar. However, the Hometime Platform recognises the cancellation date as the new check-out date.

  • All future tasks (any scheduled after the current date) will automatically update with the new dates.
