You can install your laminate, LVP, LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) over your existing floor. The existing flooring material needs to be adhered to your sub-floor by nail, staple, or glue. This can be hardwood, sheet vinyl, or tile. Additional preparation may be necessary to ensure the surface is smooth and leveled.
