- BEFORE ACCEPTING A JOB -
What is the drive time?
The drive time for each one of your operators is displayed in the Partner app as soon you respond to a job notification:
Are the drive times calculated in the app for each of my operators accurate?
Yes, at the time of dispatch these drive times are very accurate. Our system will calculate a drive time for each of your operators as soon as the customer places the order based on their distance to the customer and traffic along the way.
Does my operator have to leave immediately after taking a job?
When you select a operator you will be presented with a second screen where you get to indicate how long it will take for that operator to be dispatched for the job. We call this the wrap up time. The drive time + the "wrap up" time = the ETA. For example, if your drive time is 20 minutes and your wrap up time is 15 minutes, your ETA for that job will 35 minutes.
It is important to be as accurate as possible with your wrap up time. If you put a fast wrap up time to decrease your ETA but then end up being late, this will provide the customer with an unrealistic ETA once your company has been dispatched.
- DURING A JOB -
Is the customer notified of my drive time once I accept a job?
Yes, the customer is notified of who is on their way to assist, the drive time expected for the job, and minute by minute tracking of the operator's location until arrival. Our technology provides real time updates to the customer when tracking the operator so that your location is visible from dispatch to arrival time.
What if I'm running late?
While we understand that delays can happen due to setbacks such as an accident or truck breakdown, consistently arriving late will decrease the likelihood that your company will be dispatched on future jobs.
- ARRIVING ON TIME -
How can I make sure that I'm always on time for HONK jobs?
You can make sure you arrive on time by being as accurate as possible with your wrap up time and only taking jobs where you believe you or your operator can meet the ETA.
