If you've added a dispatcher or operator onto your HONK account, you can easily check to see if their app has been properly set up.
The first thing you will need to do is log into your joinHONK.com account and then proceed to your My Team page.
The My Team page will specifically explain what step each operator is in and what needs to be done in order to activate them. But in case you need some help, we've provided screenshots below to help explain this process and what you need to look for!
STEP 1: 10% COMPLETE
Once you have invited a dispatcher/operator, they will appear as such on the My Team page. You'll notice that the instructions indicate that the dispatcher/operator has received a text message to download the app and that the background check has not been run.
STEP 2: 25% COMPLETE
If a dispatcher/operator is 25% complete with their on-boarding process it means that they have logged into the app but have not turned location services, have not given permissions to send push notifications to their app and have not yet started their background check process.
STEP 3: 45% COMPLETE
A dispatcher/operator is almost halfway through the process once they've logged into the app. However they still either need to allow push notifications or they need to turn on their location services. What needs to be done will be indicated in writing directly under their status.
STEP 4: 65% COMPLETE
At this point the dispatcher/operator has fully set up their app. However they have not yet done their background check.
STEP 5: 65% COMPLETE
The percentage will stay at 65% until the background check has been fully processed. In this situation, you will see that they started their background check but did not fully complete it yet.
Note: The background check can only be started by drivers who have been dispatched on a HONK job. The most common reason the background check cannot be started is because the driver has not been dispatched on a job yet.
STEP 6: 65% COMPLETE
Again, the percentage will remain at 65% until the background check has been fully processed. In this situation you will see that the dispatcher/operator has completed their background check and that it is currently processing. Please note that HONK does not control how long it takes for a background check to process.
STEP 7: 100% COMPLETE
Once the app has been fully set up and the background check has been completed and approved, and proof of insurance has been provided, that dispatcher/operator will become fully active. Please note that an account will not be reviewed for activation until every single operator is at 100%.
