When setting up the HONK Partner app on your phone or tablet, you'll want to make sure that you've enabled your location services. Without turning your location services on, our system will be unable to alert you of jobs near you.

To ensure that you've enabled your location services properly, follow the instructions below:

Step 1: Open your app

If your location services are disabled, you'll see the following image when you open the app. You'll want to click on "OPEN SETTINGS" to access your app's settings page.

You'll also be able to verify that your location services are disabled by visiting your My Team page, located in your joinHONK.com account. In the image below, the My Team page will let you know if your app does not have its location services turned on.

Step 2: Open your app's settings page

Once you click the "OPEN SETTINGS" button within your app you'll be directed to your app's settings page. You'll notice in the image below that it says "Never" next to Location. You'll want to click on that to enable location services. (Note: this may look different on Android devices)

Step 3: Enable location services

To enable your location services, you'll want to click "Always." This enables HONK to alert you of jobs that are in your direct vicinity even if you're on the road.

Step 4: Verify that location services have been enabled

To verify that your location services have been enabled, you'll want to return back to your My Team page. You'll notice in the image below that the app is listed at 100%. This means that the app has location and notifications enabled as well as a background check linked to it. This is how you want every single app to look.
