Account Roles

An account role defines a individual's responsibility for the accounts they manage. Common account roles in Hook include:

  • Customer Success Manager (CSM)

  • Account Manager (AM)

  • Salesperson

  • Renewal Owner

Account roles are configured in Role settings. The account roles in Hook will match data in your CRM, with the field name and object name from your organisation's CRM visible in Role settings.

Edit Account Role Name

  1. Click the edit ✎ icon to change the role name.

  2. Click the tick button when completed, or the cross to cancel.

Display or Hide Accounts in My Overview based on Account Role

Configure accounts displayed on the Overview page in the My Overview view based on account role.

  1. Toggle the button in the Default to my accounts on homepage column. If this is toggled off, the accounts under this role will not appear in My Overview.
