Stay organised with your book of business by adding Notes to accounts. Link Notes to accounts, contacts and users to keep track of important account relationships and events.
Increase efficiency with Notes:
Categorise Notes by type. It’s important to know what type of call notes are being added (e.g. QBR, pre-renewal call etc).
Link Notes to contacts and users, to understand your engagement with different individuals and to easily refer back to previous conversations.
Set up syncing between Hook Notes and your organisation’s CRM. Email support@hook.co to set this up for your organisation.

Add Notes from any page in Hook by selecting the New note button in the top navigation bar.
Alternatively, add Notes on the Account Page.
Hook integrates with meeting software to automatically display the latest meetings with a customer in the News Feed. Email support@hook.co if you’re interested in setting this up for your organisation.
Using Notes
Add a Note to an Account
Go to the Notes section on an account and click New note.
Add a Title and your notes in the body.
Click Save. If you want to discard your note, click the bin icon to delete it.
Note: If a note is not saved it will be saved as a draft when you go back to this account page.
View Notes
Go to the Notes section on an account and click View all.
Notes can be sorted by Oldest first or Newest first.
Edit a Note
Click the pencil icon next to the Note you wish to edit.
Edit the Note, and press the Save button when finished editing.
The Note will be updated in Hook.
Delete a Note
Click the bin icon next to the Note to be deleted.
Press the Delete button to confirm the deletion.
The Note will be deleted.
❓Frequently Asked Questions
Can I go to other parts of Hook while I’m writing a Note?
You can minimise the Notes tab and explore other pages on Hook, then come back to the Note later. Click the minimise icon to the left of the cross when typing a note, and click the maximise icon to come back to it later.
Where do Notes in Hook sync to?
If set up for your organisation, notes added in Hook will sync to your organisation’s CRM. The notes will appear in the CRM’s equivalent of a Notes object (e.g. ContentNotes in Salesforce).
