The Hooked on Phonics App supports up to three learners at a time under a single subscription. Once you install the App and sign in, you can create additional learner profiles in the Grown-up Area of the App (in the Learner Profiles section), ensuring each child can learn at their own level and pace. Additionally, each profile maintains an independent record of progress, ensuring personalized learning experiences for every user. The app supports simultaneous usage, allowing all three users to access their accounts from different devices at the same time without interruptions.
Setting Up Learner Profiles
Follow these steps to set up individual learner profiles for your children:
Open the app and navigate to the Grown-up Menu by tapping the purple gear icon on the Home screen.
Enter your date of birth to access the settings.
Go to the Learner Profiles tab.
Tap the “+” sign to add a new profile.
Enter your child’s name and select their starting level based on age and reading ability. Each profile will retain individual progress, ensuring personalized learning for each child.

Best Practices for Accurate Progress Tracking
Always ensure only one account is actively in use per child to avoid progress-related confusion.
Avoid creating duplicate profiles for the same child, as this may lead to tracking inconsistencies and potential data loss.
Your App account can be logged in on up to 3 devices at one time. Logging in on more than 3 devices may result in performance issues. We recommend logging out of one device before adding a new one. To further optimize performance, keep devices organized and log out of unused devices to ensure uninterrupted access within the 3-device limit.
