Adjusting Your Goals for Calories, Macros, and More

Change your weight target, calorie goal, or macro settings any time

Life changes. Goals shift. And Hoot makes it easy to update your targets whenever you need to.

Here’s how to adjust your goals:

  1. Tap the Settings icon

  2. Select “Targets”

  3. You can now change:

    • Calorie target

    • Protein, fat, and carb macros

    • Weight goal (current or target)

    • Activity level

    • Optional: fiber, sugar, sodium, cholesterol, saturated fat, water

  4. Hoot will recalculate your recommended plan, or you can override any target manually.

Pro Tip:
Hoot sets safe minimums (1,200 for women, 1,500 for men) to help protect your health. We recommend checking in with a healthcare provider when making major changes.
