Inputting Results for Showjumping

Written by Jude Taylor

The recording of results for Showjumping follows the same basic process as all other disciplines. The basic process is covered in this article:

So you can choose to score using the "Basic - Ranking Only" templates but for more detailed scoring you can use the Single Phase/Two Phase template or the Pony Class template:

Single Phase/Two Phase template

This template allows you to record the faults from Round 1 and Round 2 as well as the individual times:

  • Key results in the grey boxes

  • Placings based on the following logic:

Total faults > Time in jump off > Time in Round 1

  • The amount of information you record is optional eg. Time of each round

  • For classes with no jump off element just record the faults and time in R1 boxes

  • Option to add a status as needed

Pony Class template

This template allows you to record R1 faults and jump off faults when there is no time element, as in some Pony classes:

  • Key results in the grey boxes

  • Placings based on total faults

  • Option to add a status as needed

Remember - for all templates you can add a Status to a competitor eg. E = Eliminated
