What to do if my payment failed?

Quite often if a payment has failed, an error message will pop up to advice you why this might have happened, if this message does not help please contact us on hello@horsemonkey.com providing us with as much information as you can so we can quickly look into things for you, where possible please let us know what the error message said and date/time of payment attempt.

In some cases it might be that during the communication between our payment provider and your bank there was a loss of contact which stopped the process. 

Having experienced this before we know that some banks ring fence the funds that were initially requested, they do this waiting for a response to confirm the payment however as the process was aborted this response will not happen. Typically banks release these funds within a set period of time which varies from Bank to Bank. 

As this may look like we have your funds we wanted you to be aware of the situation as it certainly not the case. We also want to make sure that you can process the entries you needed in a timely manner and as this may delay the process we thought best to let you know.
