Steps:
Loosen the Nut
Unscrew the nut from the main body of the fitting & slide it up the hose to keep it out of the way.
Release the Split Ring
Insert a flathead screwdriver into the white split ring. Gently lever the ring a few centimeters up the hose to loosen its hold.
Soften the Hose
Submerge the end of the hose (with the fitting still attached) in boiling water for approximately 20 seconds. This will soften the hose and make removal easier. This process makes the hose more pliable and easier to work with during removal.
Remove the Fitting
Place the hose between your feet for stability and pull the hose straight up to remove the fitting. Avoid pulling at an angle to prevent damage.
If you find this difficult to do you could just cut off the end of the hose & discard the stem.

To connect your hose end connector with flow control to your hose follow the steps below or watch the video.
Prepare half a cup of boiling water
Ensure the hose is cut square
Slide the screw nut on to the hose & put white split ring flush with hose end.
Important! Submerge the hose end 2cm deep into boiled water for approximately 10 seconds to soften.
Pull the stem out of the hose connector body, place stem on a hard flat surface, & push hose down firmly on to the stem, all the way to the bottom. Put back into connector body.
TIP: If the hose is not going all the way down, try spraying lubricant onto the stem of the hose end connector and inside the hose.
Tighten the screw nut.
