You get great outcomes by asking great questions. Poorly-phrased questions lead to pointless processes.

That’s why we first vet our feedback forms with leading clinical psychologists. Then we ask employees which questions have helped them do better work and have more meaningful relationships. Then we update our question library for all customers to leverage - and slap them on screen as 'best-practice templates'.

The 2 clinical psychologists that have had the biggest impact on our templates are Prof. Samuel. A Culbert and Dr Anna Janssen.

Prof. Samuel. A Culbert

Samuel is an award-winning author, researcher, and professor at UCLA's Anderson School of Management.

His laboratory is the world of work where he puts conventional managerial assumptions under a microscope to uncover and replace dysfunctional practices.

In his words "I’m out to make the world of work fit for human consumption."

Samuel is a regular contributor to Forbes, The Wall Street Journal and Huffington Post and is best known for his books Get Rid Of The Performance Review and Good People Bad Managers.

He has been a mentor and personal friend to Julian (Howamigoing Co-founder) since 2016.
