Why?

To support reward leaders in demonstrating benchmarks vs the market, we are introducing the ability to compare pay directly in the platform with the market context.

Many users currently take benchmark data offline to compare it against their internal pay structures.

With 'Compare your pay' you can quickly compare your organisation rates to market rates without leaving the HR DataHub platform.

How?

Benchmark any role as you normally would, or open an existing search from your saved searches list.

You will now see an additional area of the platform that lives between the salary insights and job post insights, like this;

The pink section in the middle is where you can add your rates to gain insights against market rates.

Either click anywhere on the pink box, or you can click on this button on the left-hand side, within additional filters, to open the compare your pay section of the platform;

From here, you can type in either the pay range which applies to this role, or you can enter the actual pay.

Once you've added your pay rates as shown above, two key parts of the platform will update.

The 'compare your pay' insights will be shown in the pink box on the results page, and will look like this;

As shown above you are also able to switch between lower quartile/median/upper quartile depending where you position yourself as a business.

And you can also copy and paste the comparison summary on the left-hand side to share with relevant team members, as shown;

Top tip

Compare your pay works best in conjunction with saved searches

You are able to save your company rates to all of your saved searches. When you revisit a saved search, you can update the results and see whether your rates move closer to or further away from the LQ/median/UQ.

'Compare your pay' on an organisational level

Compare your current pay with multiple benchmarks in a single view.

A dedicated pay column has been added to 'My Saved Searches' overview, as well as an auto-calculated comparison %.

Sort your saved searches by the compare column to identify the biggest gaps between your pay and the market.

Check out hover tooltips to show Β£ difference; You can now also toggle between Median, LQ, UQ for all of your saves.
