Why?
In an increasingly 'online' world, remote working is a more attractive benefit than ever before.
The data shows that candidates are willing to accept a lower salary in return for benefits like remote working, given the flexibility it allows them.
Knowing whether a role offers fully remote working or not allows you to benchmark more accurately, and the HR DataHub also speeds things up.
How does it work?
Defining 'Remote'
The model is only looking for either fully remote roles, or those roles that say 'once a month in the office', 'two or three times a quarter' or similar.
Any roles that includes 1 or more office days per week, is considered hybrid, and is not included in our remote working definition.
On the platform
As with performance-related bonuses and shift allowances, the remote working ML (machine learning) model looks for all references that suggest remote working is available.
Any role that contains a Remote Working reference will have the icon shown below.
You can click on any benefit icon to open the relevant reference within the job post. For these examples we are looking just for the remote working references;
You can also see all Remote Working references in a list view by downloading the results to excel, as shown;
