I'm new to the platform and I'm not sure how to get most value out of it - can you help?

Of course we can! Please see our Article, "First time using HR DataHub?" for a complete walkthrough from our fantastic Customer Success team.

Can you help me benchmark a role?

Please see our "First time using HR DataHub?" article for help benchmarking a role. If you need further assistance and are a Pro user, then one of our awesome customer success team can guide you through the process. Just book a call and we'll walk you through it!

How often does new data get added to HR DataHub?

Great question! We pull fresh data from a host of sources multiple times a day.

What sources do you use for the roles within HR DataHub?

Our data comes from multiple sources including Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Indeed, Reed, TotalJobs, CV Library, JobSwipe, Radancy, Experteer, Caterer.com and many more.

How can I check the level of the roles that I see in HR DataHub?

Currently, the best way to determine the level is to see what indicators are in the job title (Junior, Senior, etc). While this isn't always the most reliable benchmarking method (i.e, two different organisations may have different interpretation of what constitutes "Senior") it's the best available option as of now. We are working on a processing methodology to improve this. Keep an eye on the "New & Updates" section!

How do you manage duplicate job posts?

We have a de-duplication system that ensures we remove as many duplicates as possible. Our de-duplication system operates on the following basis: every new job post added to our database is scanned for duplication, and if it is found to have an exact match on specific elements then it will be considered a duplicate and removed from the database.

Is there a way for me to find what annual leave/benefits/pensions other employers are offering on their job postings?

While we are still working on the technology to extract this content from job postings, here is a work around other users have found useful. When searching for a role, use the "advanced keywords" search to find the content you are looking for within the job description. In the case of "annual leave", select 'contain any' and type in 'annual leave', 'holiday', and any other words that may be used to describe annual leave, click search and see the results.

I want to view data for my sector only

Good news for you, that's really easy to do! You can use the 'Industry' filter to zone in on the insights for the sector that are most relevant for the role you're benchmarking.

How do I search for data on specific companies?

You can use the 'Organisation' filter to target data for specific organisations. Do keep in mind that many organisations post jobs via recruitment agencies, so results might be limited under the exact company name.

Which currency are jobs displayed in? Can I change the currency?

All currency is displayed in British Sterling (£). You are currently unable to change the currency displayed in HR DataHub.

Can I download any of the information that I have just looked up?

Of course! You can download the Charts as images, or the results table as an excel/csv sheet for every search you make, so you can review the data offline. Jeep in mind that the downloaded the results spreadsheet won't containt he job descriptions for each role.
