Using 'location' when benchmarking with HR DataHub 🌎

The location entered can have a big impact on your search results, here's how it should be used...

Getting accurate results using the location feature of our platform is more complex (on the backend) than you might think, and so this article seeks to clarify exactly how it should be used, and some other considerations when entering your location.

  1. Leaving the location section blank will conduct a UK-wide search

  2. Postcodes cannot be searched for as the location is taken straight from the job description and a postcode is very rarely added, so you won't see many results, if any.

  3. The best thing to do is starting typing a location and click it from the dropdown menu rather than just typing yourself

  4. Minor spelling differences can make a major results difference
