Leave will prorate upto current date and reset based on the employee’s joined date of the employee or set year period.
A. Leave based on Date Joined
Annual leave is pro-rated using this formula:
(No. of completed months of service / 12 months) x No. of days of annual leave
Employee join date: March 1, 2017
Current date: Nov. 1, 2017
Leave entitlement: 15
Prorate: March 1, 2017 upto November 1, 2017
Employee leave balance: (8/12)*15= 10
Based on MOM:
B. Leave based on Calendar Year or Fiscal Year
Just tick "Set Leave Year Period" and input the reset date
Note: If you allow unused leave to be carried forward just tick "Allow rollover days to next year" and input the maximum "Total days allowed to be rollover to next year".
