Have you ever overpaid or underpaid SOCSO or EIS contributions due to an incorrect calculation? No worries! This guide will show you what you need to do to claim your refund or make shortage payments.

SOCSO Overpayment

If you've overpaid SOCSO contributions for the year, you may claim a refund via PERKESO Assist Portal.

Here's how to get started:

1. Login to PERKESO Assist Portal .

2. Navigate to My Sites located on the top right page.

3. Head over to Inspection then click on BBC.

4. Next, complete all required details at Refund Application - PKS(K)50.

5. Upon completing, click Save & Continue to proceed.

6. Next, upload all required documents (business registration certificate and copy of employees' IC) then Save & Continue.

7. Lastly, review your application and click Submit.

SOCSO Underpayment

If you've underpaid SOCSO contributions for the year, you'll need to make shortage payments via PERKESO Assist Portal.

Here's how to proceed with the shortage payments:

1. Login to PERKESO Assist Portal .

2. Navigate to My Sites located on the top right page then choose SOCSO Contribution.

3. On the Employer Contribution tab, choose Add Contribution (Portal).

4. Input valid Employer Code and click Search.

5. Navigate to Arrears/Short Contribution, select Contribution Month and click Select.

6. Navigate to Action button to edit/update employee’s salary. Assist Portal will calculate the contribution automatically.

Note: Follow the same steps if there are more than one contribution months.

7. Lastly, click on Complete > Submit > Confirm to finish the submission process.

Upon completing the submission process, kindly follow these steps to make shortage payments:

Payment Channel (Collection)

1. Payment via Bank Counter [Maybank/RHB Bank/Public Bank]

You'll need to click on Print ACR if payment was made at the bank counter via cash or cheque.

2. Online Payment [FPX]

You'll need to click on ‘Process to Payment’ for online payment.

Important Note:

  • The Acknowledgement Contribution Received (ACR) may contain more than one month’s contribution. If you've underpaid SOCSO contributions from 11/2020 to 12/2020, you'll need to complete all those two months submission process before you could proceed to the next payment stage.

EIS Overpayment

If you've overpaid EIS contributions for the year, you may claim a refund to the nearest PERKESO branch.

To proceed with the refund, you'll need to complete these documents:

  • Appendix A [Borang Senarai Semak]

  • Appendix B [PKS(K)50 SIP and PKS(K)50A SIP]

  • Other relevant documents

Upon completing those documents, you can submit them to the nearest PERKESO branch counter to claim a refund.

EIS Underpayment

If you've underpaid EIS contributions for the year, you'll need to make shortage payments via PERKESO Assist Portal.

Here's how to proceed with the shortage payments:

1. Login to PERKESO Assist Portal .

2. Navigate to My Sites located on the top right page then choose SIP Contribution.

3. On the Employer Contribution tab, choose Add Contribution (Data Entry).

4. Navigate to Arrears or Short Contribution.

5. Next, select Contribution Month and click on the Select button.

6. Navigate to Action button to edit/update employee’s salary. Assist Portal will calculate the contribution automatically.

7. Lastly, click on Complete > Submit > Confirm to finish the submission process.

Upon completing the submission process, kindly follow these steps to make shortage payments:
