Tips to Help You Take Photos of Medicine Receptacles

How to add a Medication Bottle Photo

Follow these instructions.

New Medication

  1. Start by tapping on "Medications" on the Home page.

  2. "Add a new medication."

  3. Search by name for the medication (Tip: You can always manually type in the medication if it isn't found in the search.)

  4. Select or enter the directions for how to take the medication.

  5. Optional: Add a photo of the bottle or label, add dates, or other relevant details in the notes.

Existing Medication

  1. Start by tapping on "Medications" on the Home page.

  2. If you already have medication in Huddle, then you'll tap the medication name

  3. On the Med Rollup page tap on the medication listed under "History."

  4. Locate and select the nine black dots in the top upper right hand corner then "Edit this item" or tap on the orange edit icon to the right of the medication name (hint: it looks like a pencil and paper.)

  5. Select "Add Images"

  6. Once you are finished tap on "Update Item"

Photo Tip #1

Pick an even, dark background like a wooden table or counter.

Photo Tip #2

Hold bottle straight and far enough from the phone to sharply focus.

Photo Tip #3

Make sure you show the medication name as much as possible.
